We are delighted to have been included in Talk Education’s Top 250 Schools in the UK – not just once but twice! Dulwich Cranbrook Prep School and Senior School have been separately listed in Talk Education’s Top 250 Schools in the UK. Talk Education take into account everything from the quantifiable (results, facilities, destinations and more) to the unquantifiables like word-of-mouth reputation. Not many schools in Kent made the cut, so we are giving ourselves a well-deserved pat on the back! A huge thank you to our pupils, parents and staff for everything you do to make our school community so special.
Performing and Creative Arts Award 2025
We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Performing and Creative Arts category of the Talk Education Awards. Our entry focused on the integration of LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) examinations into the Drama curriculum for pupils in Years 5–8, which is usually offered as an extra-curricular activity. Allocating dedicated lesson time for LAMDA exam preparation ensures that every pupil has the support to become more confident in public speaking and performing. In the Summer Term, we were proud that every Year 5 pupil achieved a distinction!
Muddy Stilettos Award 2025
We are delighted to share that we have been Highly Commended in the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards ‘Inventive Extra-curricular Programme’ category for 2025. This commendation is for our fantastic Year 4 enterprise project. This year, in partnership with Loddington Farm, the children have learnt how apples are grown, pruned, cultivated, pressed and bottled. The children picked apples from our School grounds to create their very own Dulwich apple juice! They are currently in the marketing and sales phase of the project which includes designing labels for their bottles. The apple juice will be sold later in the Summer Term, with all proceeds donated to charity.
Muddy Stilettos Award 2024
We are delighted to have been Highly Commended in the Muddy Stilettos School Awards 2024 ‘Passionate About Sport’ category. Whilst the vast majority of our pupils love and excel at competitive sports, it is not for everyone, and the need for an active alternative became apparent. Recognising that pupils have other strengths and interests, we launched the Dulwich Inspires! programme in 2017. Since then, it has been developed and fine-tuned year on year to become an extra-curricular programme that ignites passion, inspires curiosity, and acts as a catalyst for pupils to discover the depths of their potential. We are incredibly proud of our Dulwich Inspires! programme and it is due to its success that we have been Highly Commended in this category.
Wilder Kent Awards
We are delighted to announce that Dulwich Cranbrook has been awarded a silver award at the Wilder Kent Awards 2023.
As a school and community, we are committed to protecting wildlife. From outdoor education days with the Kent Wildlife Trust, to foraging workshops across our school grounds which enable our children to learn about biodiversity, we strive to maintain and share conscious positive behaviours towards the environment.
